I guess I didn't mention freelancing. You make a good point. Freelancing is another source of income. It's just something I don't know much about.

Products? Let see now, what product can I create? I do have 3 people or agencies in the US who outsource their design work to me but I guess that's a different kind of product.

Melo's last blog post..Can You Peel It?

I can give a cut all day long, as long as someone else is doing the work.

Right now, though, I haven't decided if I have a product I could sell whether I would sell it via affiliates or give it away free and try to make it up with what I could do with the traffic from giving something away.

For example, you could write the ultimate book on blogging that people rave about in prerelease reviews. Now do you take that and sell it. Or take it, give it away free, and have some affiliate links in it that will make you more than what you could have sold it for.

Then again, there is so much free stuff out there that a price tag may add enough value to get someone to actually read it and click any of the affiliate links to begin with.

Or do both?

It would be cool to see a study on this.

I have to agree... creating your own products is definately the way to go. Of course if you use affiliates they are going to get a cut as well but at least you are building your own customer list instead of someone elses.
