This is the first time I tried one of these things but I figured what the hell. We will see what happens.
This is a lot of work. First, find the blogs. Then add the links. Then comment. But you never know what something like this will do until you try.

Its real easy and it has a multiplying effect of 5s…i.e first layer 5, then 25, then 125 etc. Tag others and see your technorati authority increase exponentially!

Nice idea. Didn’t technorati catch on to this when it was the 2000 bloggers viral? Also, getting a huge number of backlinks all with the same anchortext can harm your Google SERPs. Google hates seeing more than 20 backlinks to a single page with the same anchor text.
But, more to the point this kind of viral only really works for bloggers who blog about blogging bloggers, if you’re in a niche, like science or art say, the bloggers you tag may not even know about technorati and if they do, they are less likely to care than a crew of bloggers hoping to boost their rankings.
