I went off on a tangent last night and built this. It only took a few hours.

When you enter a term and hit go, it preloads all of the search engine links for you so you can click them and have the results open in the frame.

Please give me any comments, suggestions, new categories or new sites that Dir23 needs in the comments and have fun!

Yesterday, I ran into a post over at The NetFool than ran down a few Black Hat SEO Techniques. Black Hat techniques always get me thinking. Using the term "Black Hat", automatically assumes the existence of White, Gray and theoretically "No Hat" techniques.

Techniques listed under this category are about the only ones that won’t have someone calling you a spammer, black hat, or anything of the sort. It is involves using an "if you build it, they will come" technique. Sending one email to your sister about your new site would automatically eject you from this group. Not sure of the business model of these smaller search engines but every now and then you run into one that has something unique, but in the company of bigger search engines, it’s hard to tell how they will survive.

This is a totally visual search engine with huge snapshots of each of the pages. It definitely gives you an indication of where you are going before you click on a link.
