Quite a Traffic Spike

I guess Alexa has to catch up every one and while, not that I trust Alexa. It’s just nice to see the nice spike in the graph a few days after starting a new blog. I guess releasing a theme helps.

Promoting Your Free WordPress Theme

Talk about an increase in traffic and I didn’t have to bribe someone to digg or stumble one of my posts. I was getting really antsy to be finished with this theme at the end so I could see how much traffic a person could get from a WordPress theme. Now I guess I have found out. I have worked off and on with this theme for a couple of months now. And now that it is done, I see many things that I could have done better. But here is what I picked up along the way. Read more... Get My Free WordPress Theme

I figured I would host all of my WordPress experiments on another blog, Renovating WordPress. I am going to be doing a lot with WordPress in the next few months and I figured that while I won’t have enough content to post daily to the blog, the things I will be making available as downloads over there will bring enough traffic in it’s own right.
