    Always consider the quality of the free pr site you are submitting to as being more important than the quantity of sites you submit to. To determine the quality….

    1. Does the site get it’s content indexed by Google news?
    2. Does the site have a Google Pagerank above 4
    3. Is the site ranked in the top 300,000 sites on the Web? (You can use a service like Alexa.com or Quantcast.com to check)
    4. Is the site still free. PRWeb.com which is listed above is no longer free. The number of sites switching from free to pay for listing increases almost daily.

    As your list shows, there are many free press release distribution sites and many are not worth the time it takes to post a release. I’ve been using these sites for quite a few years and finally took some time to review about 60 of them. From that 60 I found about 15 that have a Google pagerank above 4, an Alexa.com rank above 300,000 and also feed most of their releases to Google news.     Great List!!

    I have found a new site called NetForce Marketing, this allows you to post a number of articles about your business as well as a link. The site then submits the article to over 100 other sites which will increas your rank on Google etc.
