It is hard to find good cheap hosting and if you search for it, you will find a bunch of spam and companies you may be unsure of. With shared hosting, I would go straight to NearlyFreeSpeech.net. Godaddy is a bit faster but you can’t beat the price for low traffic or mini sites.

The thematic theme is a great free theme and the first one I install in a new WordPress installation. You can leave it as is for a minimalist themes with a lot of widget ready areas including blocks in the content or you can download or create a child theme. Very flexible.

the ‘how to work when you are tired’ one is pretty good. *bookmarked*
There are a number of great bookmarks here, however the more I learn php the less optimised I understand wordpress to be. An amazing open source project and with small tweaks like the ones found on yoast can be very well optimised.
Love the justcoded article. Use wordpress as a grocery list lol.
