Google reader just freaked out a few minutes ago and when I came back, I found out that I can now get all of my news stories while I’m offline. This is all because of Google Gears.
Google Gears allows you to run your web apps offline and its open source. That means that other developers can make their web apps run offline also.
The developer site is ready and waiting for developers to create their own offline/online apps.
