Google Sitemap Errors

I hate updating WordPress, especially minor updates. Sometimes I forget to reactivate some plugins. It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have some plugins just sitting in the folder that I am not using or else I would get the "Activate All" plugin, but I know there is a few in there that I haven’t deleted yet. Those plugins will turn my blog into a nice clean white page. Great if I wanted to use my laptop screen as a dry erase board but not much else.

Total Google Searches: 6181

I actually looked through my Google web history this morning. I finally started logging into Google before searching a little while ago. Before I was paranoid that Google would recognize patterns in my searching and browsing that would indicate what I was trying to do online. Let’s just say I started out in this game with my hat a little bit blacker than it is now and I figured if I searched for "content generators", Google would take that and the cpanel IP I logged into and put two and two together. I am still paranoid about searching for "paid links".

The Ultimate Custom Search Engine

I don’t know if it would be for everyone, but for me yes. I have basically stopped bookmarking, because I end up with thousands and never find what I was looking for. Search the bookmarks is not enough. What would be cool is if a site could spider the pages of your own person bookmarks, so that you could search within the page of the bookmark. Not the whole site, just the one page. Or possibly if you bookmarked the index url, the whole site.

Google Adwords Campaign Optimizer

Just found this today in my Adwords account. Does it work? Yes. But you have to check everything out first.

Of course, they optimize your keywords up to number one position. So unless your ready to start paying out the teeth, you have to take these suggestions with a grain of salt. It’s great for long tail keywords. But many times a lower position with better ad copy will win out. Let all the new "kill ‘em all" hot shot advertiser’s pay out the teeth.
