I meant to get this up for Christmas day, but then I just stayed off the computer and internet all together, which I think was a good choice.
Here is where 4% of our Christmas batteries went to. It was a toy we bought at the last minute and was a hit. And now, for the most part, he sings songs from the BackYardigans:
This was my office since we moved to this house. I bought the desk in Phoenix online and had it shipped here. We also did that with area rugs because just about every room in this house has hardwood floors.
And this is temporarily my new office, in the basement. And I think I made a good move. Let me tell you why.
The desk in the first picture is in our dining room which is basically one huge room which includes the living room. It look’s nice, but there was not much I could get done.
Eristoddle.com is the third domain I’ve owned. My first was Profit-ware.com which was banned by Google for years and now has a Pagerank of 4. I have found a use for that site and will be moving forward on it soon. My second was ClickbankEbook.com which now redirects to Digital Products Review.
It began as an internet marketing site running on PHPnuke. PHPnuke was the first CMS I played around with and the reason why I started learning to code in PHP.
I always thought I would carry around a digital camera everywhere and be one of those people who take pictures of everything. Never happened until today.
A nice classic looking Bungalow with a decent price. Not very many closets, but I like woodworking. I could put in some built ins.
I started with the best intentions.
This workbench was built for less than $20 out of an old pallet and a sheet of the lowest grade plywood.
I did build some things. I haven’t figured out if this shelf is supposed to look like PI or not.
I have come to the conclusion that every era and paradigm in history is still alive and well in one part of the world or another. Well, not every one but quite a few.
I moved from Phoenix to Kansas City and moved back in time somewhere between 20 and 50 years. Not literally of course, but it’s the feeling I get. While some of you can say older generations grew up differently and had different values, the whole mass here still lives there.
This weekend I haven’t been around the net much. I actually got out with the love of my life. We got a babysitter. And went over to Overland Park, Kansas in search of cheap electronics and better food. The last time was a "starving artists" art sale. Well, we didn’t find the electronics liquidation sale, but we did get some food and books.
In Phoenix, you could find whatever you wanted to find. They had a natural foods store there called Sprouts. Nothing of the sort here. So we crossed over to Kansas. We ate lunch before shopping. I thought what I got was a natural version of an energy drink.
