No Spyware. I searched for one thing and this is what I get.

I’ve been getting that a lot this past week or two. But I don’t know why. I checked for spyware and viruses too and can’t find anything.

It’s stopped now. But for a while it was the same thing at work and at home on separate computers with separate internet providers. A few times it wouldn’t let me even type in a captcha to get past it. Does that mean everyone in my area got blocked? I wonder what Adwords Advertisers would think of this? I switched to Yahoo for a while. If it had gone on too long, that might have been permanent. Not good to randomly block a whole city.

I speak with Google reps freq and in the past they have told me when I receive that error the best way it so clear your cache…not sure if that is helpful now.. just figured I would share.

I would have thought that would have been a solution also, if it hadn’t happened on 3 seperate computers across two IP’s and two ISP’s.

Google’s up to something. Gmail’s been in and out for days and in general they’ve been on the blink quite a bit. I think the boys and girls at “G” land are tinkerin’ with their multi-billion dollar toy. What they’re up to??? Not a clue.

If you’ve ran your spyware and adware scan programs along with having a good virus protection program and or firewall, search me…on second thought don’t…you may get an error…LOL

Peace…………T

i think they deliberately say this bcoz their servers fill up fast due to the vast number of pages being indexed by it almost every second. so looking back, its kind of a lame excuse.

Well, maybe if Google didn’t do stuff like this, they would probably have a bigger market share. It only takes the wrong type of person to get this message to never be back.

But that seems to be the way many internet companies run their business. “F U, we have enough business. If you don’t like it you can hunt down our number for hours only to be put on hold for hours.”

I mean is sounds like a straight accusation and like I said I had the ability to test it from multiple IP’s and through a couple ISP’s. The message is very much directed at the singular user. This had to affect thousands of people at the least.

It’s not the cache because I always clear mine and I got the message quite a few times. But I remember that it always showed up only if I used the search bar on my firefox and never when I searched directly from google.com

I am in Singapore btw so … its happening worldwide they are tweaking something.

You would just think they would use another message if they knew this were happening.

For a while, mine search worked without the toolbar that day. But then the same message for either the toolbar or directly from Google.

It even got to the point where they wouldn’t let me me type the captcha in. They just said no.

Yes I also got that one in my PC and you have to type in a word in order to continue. I did a scanning for my PC to look for that virus or spyware thing but I also got nothing. What happens to Google nowadays? :(

I get that page when I do a few too many searches for websites and their rankings. I have been “banned” from Google for as much as 24 hours on occasion.

But the point was that I wasn’t doing this.
